Who we are and Chris’s Story
Elevating Voices CIC is an autistic-led social enterprise based in the North East of England. Founded by filmmaker Chris, the organisation was born out of personal experience and a drive to turn lived challenges into creative empowerment.
Filmmaking gave Chris personal freedom, a powerful voice, and a career pathway. Today, he uses that passion to pass on technical skills to other neurodivergent people and help public bodies and businesses communicate accessibility with real authenticity.

What is a Community Interest Company (CIC)?
As a Community Interest Company, we operate for social purpose rather than private profit. Every pound made from our commercial services and grants is reinvested directly back into our community workshops, participant equipment, and local inclusion projects.
The sessions were very clear and easy to follow. I gained valuable new skills and grew in confidence, while also exploring potential opportunities for volunteering. I would highly recommend this workshop to others.
